Utility professionals will meet for two days in September 2017 in San Diego to benchmark, learn from each other, and grow their professional networks at the 5th Change Management for Utilities Conference. Participants include change management professionals, utility business leaders, and consultants and solution providers. They will gather to share best practices, real-world experiences, and lessons learned from the challenges they face in change projects in their organizations.
Change Management leaders Prosci will lead the kick-off “deep dive” session at the conference to discuss “How to Manage a Portfolio of Change: Tips, Trick and Tools.”
As the pace and complexity of change continues to increase, change practitioners are challenged to support a growing number of projects and the resulting portfolio of change. In this Deep Dive, participants will explore tips, tricks, and tools for managing multiple, often simultaneous, organizational changes. Extensions to Prosci’s proven change management tools, methods and best practices will be introduced and applied with a focus on a portfolio perspective. Participants will co-create deliverables capturing common concerns regarding change saturation and change collision; and will identify specific challenges and opportunities for managing the portfolio of change in their organizations.
“Prosci is a known leader in change management,” said Ashley Baptiste, CEO, Conferences Connect, the event’s organizer. “Since the first event in this conference series, many of our participants have continued their change management education and certification with Prosci. We are thrilled to partner with them again in this event.”
The session will be led by Prosci’s Solution Portfolio Strategy Manager, Karen Ball.
