Name, Title, Company:
My name is Marlem Pullin, and I am the Managing Director at WG Consulting, your trusted financial advisory services firm. I’ve been with the company for five months, where I lead a team of professionals providing strategic counsel and customized solutions to clients, focusing on strategic growth and financial planning.
Family, Hometown, Where You Live:
I grew up in Puerto Rico and now call Houston home, where I live with my husband, our three kids, and our two puppies, Johnny and Ginger. Family means everything to me, and we cherish our time together—whether it’s enjoying everyday moments or exploring new places through our love of travel.
What is your industry experience?
With over 25 years of experience as a results-driven financial executive, I have led teams through transformational change, integration, and process optimization, driving efficiency across organizations. I have worked with both public and private entities across a range of industries, including private equity, energy trading, nuclear energy, midstream and downstream energy, construction, and building services. My expertise encompasses financial governance, regulatory compliance, management consulting, and operational leadership.
What do you do when you’re not at work? Hobbies? Family?
When I’m not at work, you can usually find me volunteering in my community and or at my Zumba class. Family time is a big priority, and I enjoy taking weekend trips with my husband and kids.
Where do you see yourself one year from today?
Expanding my network and growing WG Consulting’s clientele.
What is your biggest challenge?
One of the biggest challenges in consulting is balancing business development with client service. Managing this balance effectively is an ongoing challenge but also an exciting opportunity for growth.

I’m also grateful for the mentors I’ve had throughout my career—each one has played a key role in my professional development, offering valuable insights, encouragement, and guidance that have helped me navigate the consulting industry.
What is your number one goal?
My top priority is to continue growing in the consulting industry, expanding WG Consulting, and delivering meaningful value to our clients.
