Event Description

Data centers are expected to double in number by 2021 and it is poised to be one of the largest energy consumers in the near future. The industry is leading the shift to renewable energy to power the internet economy and address climate risk. As a result, more utilities have begun to offer data-center operators access to large-scale renewable energy, adding another milestone to the initiative in achieving sustainable economic development. It emphasizes the need to utilize renewable energy to power data centers, in order to reduce the environmental footprint.

EUCI’s Utilities, Data Centers & Renewable Energy Summit will bring together policy makers, utilities, and data center operators to address challenges faced by both utilities and data center operators with renewable energy procurement and evaluate the effectiveness of current renewable energy incentives programs. The summit also discusses how utilities and data centers are working in tandem to fuel sustainable economic development and effectively address climate change issues.

About the Organizers

EUCI is a family-operated company founded nearly 30 years ago and headquartered in beautiful Denver, Colorado. It was started by a woman trying to fill an educational gap (or void) in the marketplace and has grown to include over 20 employees providing conferences and courses all over North America.
