PG&E Merges Capabilities for Growth & Continuous Improvement

Margo Rose, PG&E

Many utility organizations strive to build a culture of continuous improvement. How does Pacific Gas & Electric do it? Meet Margo Rose, Enterprise Continuous Improvement CoE at Pacific Gas & Electric at the 4th Change Management for Utilities conference, February 7-8, 2017 in Las Vegas. You’ll hear first-hand how PG&E, a $15+ billion dollar gas and electric utility, continue on the path of developing leaders and practitioners to mature their continuous improvement capability and expand their mindsets about how to support their most strategic initiatives.

Over the last 12 months, PG&E has merged its change management and process improvement teams – combining infrastructure, integrated strategies, and consulting expertise. Margo’s session tells the ongoing story of capability maturity at PG&E.

Margo leads PG&E’s Enterprise Continuous Improvement Center of Excellence, where she builds operations infrastructure to support the One PG&E continuous improvement framework and the growth of continuous improvement capabilities. She joined PG&E with over 20 years of operations experience, primarily as the project leader of technology installations and data integration initiatives for financial institutions. Her experience leading a series of regional bank mergers prompted her to deepen her understanding of the skills necessary to successfully lead change.
